Penarth Mine Pt1 vast slate mine north Wales

Back in north Wales again, this time to explore Penarth Mine near Llangollen. This is one of the largest mines ive explored with huge caverns making it difficult to light well in some areas. In this Part 1 we explore the right hand side of the mine.

Thanks, you will need a lot of lighting in here mate walls seem to absorb the light like crazy. It's massive a good explore tho. Atb for your trip mate

@@OvergroundUnderground thanks mate, yeh had to upgrade the lights after the dragons eye explore, my lights that I thought were OK weren't that at all on tha day! We have Maenofferen the next day also so gonna be an awesome trip!

Ahh thanks , was an unexpected trip there that time round wasn't prepared as mich as I'd liked to havr been, those were just phone pics got, next time gonna take the Nikon and tripod

@go-explore Penarth isn't too bad to navigate but it is vast, we found 4 levels in the 2 trips we did. My part 1 is the larger right side as you enter part , part 2 is the left side and takes you lower into the large caverns. A good 4 to 5 hr trip!!

Quality explore guys, for lighting up those huge Chambers I use an olight Marauder 2. It's 14,000 lumins and it's like having the sun in there lol
