I remember a lot of pot at practises, he definitely didn't need speed to play fast! Pure talent I do know* he dropped acid(shrooms) at a show in San Diego, Che Cafe and it was an amazing "Animal Muppet" sets I ever witnessed. He played so fast hard to keep up. Brent wrote everything while in isolation after health issues Confined within my bedroom cell. I hung out with Brent a lot. The other guys lived other places so.... * that's how I remember it but am I telling the truth? 😜

this guys are one of the founders of the style. Godfather's of powerviolence who started back in 88. This. Record is definitely one of the classics of the genre. Fast as f*ck without sounding like metal , still rooted in punk/ HC.where many bands went down the grindcore, death metal..Chris Dodge who put this out says he wished they had material for a full 12 but it wasn't meant to be.

I mean, you got in similar lines Spazz, Siege, Napalm Death, Neanderthal and more, even some Agnostic Front got this crazy fast hardcore sound at beggining, may you call it a mixture of powerviolence / grind before that genre even existed?
