I'm trying to collect traditional silat training videos, but have not yet been able to publish. my brother's example is a guru silat, one of the "aliran" pencak silat traditional from kalimantan (borneo), there are video footage around 1980, practice using sharp weapons (blade, knife, spear) there is also I have seen the exam to complete silat training, to handle a knife attack, just in one movement.. bloody footage. very-very secret.. and I never finish my traning ..cause i was scared..hahahaha

yg terakhir itu maenpo cikalong abah azis ashari.....murid nya bnyak yg dr aliran silat lain dan beladiri lain....aneh nya bnyak murid abah yg dr beladiri aikido,jkd wing cun,karate,jujitsu(msh pd aktif di bela diri nya masing2) ada yg bilang mrk belajar cikalong tuk mengefektifkan atau mnghaluskan tehnik beladiri asal mereka.....saya pun demikian....tdk terasa tehnik silat saya jd makin halus dan lebih efektif setelah belajar maenpo cikalong....
