Stanford is a racist institution. It limits the number of Asian and perhaps even White students to fit an artificial race quota. Those students being interviewed, their names are Indian I presume. I’ll give credit to them. At least they got into Stanford based on pure merit (I don’t think affirmative action favors people of Indian descent), unlike B.L.K students and “student” athletes.

You are ignorant. The black students are academically on par with anyone else there. Not to mention that there's still a strict standard for student athletes at Stanford (Olympian Eileen Gu, for example, scored a 1580 on the SAT)

Instead of blaming blacks or student athletes for taking admission spots, you should go blame legacy students or the children of wealthy donors.

@@mister369 if legacy students and wealthy donors are held to the same academic standards as everyone I don’t care. But if they aren’t, that’s problematic. But let’s be honest, Stanford is also about business. If some kids parents donates millions of dollars to the school I definitely see why they would accept the student even if they have lower scores than regular Stanford kids who get in on pure merit. Your average student athlete does not bring in millions of dollars for the university so it’s almost a failed investment.

Yup. Those Indian kids don’t benefit from affirmative action. Even though they seem like intolerant leftists, at least I know they probably got into Stanford based on grades and actually scoring above 98th percentile on “culturally biased” exams.

I think the protesters choose the word "hate" when the subject involves "damage control." We all know you give people an inch, they take a mile, the Trump Administration was establishing boundaries in the U.S. Now it is helter skelter, no damage control, tensions are astronomical.
