Diamonds form by extreme heat and pressure over hundreds/thousands of years, so unfortunately this is too good to be true. However, I love what you're doing, testing internet theories/myths and all! Keep it up!

Lab created diamonds are actually made with microwave rays but you can't just recreate the conditions at home.

Framr synthetic diamonds aka lab grown (which are actual diamonds) are made from heat, extreme pressure... and about 10 days- 3months if time... depending on how quickly it grows...

Lab-created diamonds are apparently made with something similar in function to a microwave. But it takes more like 3 months, not 3 minutes! Fun vid, though.

They use a diamond seed, and heat it to over 800C and then inject carbon gas and other gases. Takes about 2wks on average.

Diamonds are formed deep under ground with extreme heat and pressure. You cannot make a diamond without the proper mechanics that create the same condition.

Diamond is formed from lava cooled for a long time that contains enough carbon in it. Basalt is also made from cooled lava. Pretty sure about the above Probably

You obviously can’t make diamonds using that method but I am curious because if diamonds and graphite are made of carbon what if you make graphite powder mix it into boiling water until it is a super saturated solution and then leave it out with anything covering it will that make crystal seeds or something cuz you can crystallize about anything so yeah...

i did the experiment and when I took it out i let it cool and the pencil didnt crush at all and when i put the plate in the sink it 'blew up' and shattered into pieces in the sink. Just saying but this is a very dangerous experiment, I will ask my Chemistry teacher tommorow and I am not saying that its anyones fault who made this video but possible Blossom's for not giving a pre-warning. *Please take caution!*

Graphite dosent absorbe the radiation waves it needs to be "wet". Soaking it in vegetable oil for 30 min to allow it to absorb the oil then microwave it for quite some time. ( I feel 3 min it too short). could you try that?

Graphite will take temps high enough to melt metal. Ur microwave face will melt off before the graphite gives in to the heat of a microwave. I.e. it won't happen
