You DID capture the movement of water! I would have over-colored instead of subtle blending. Although you’ve explained your methodology (to obtain a sense of fluidity), I don’t understand how you know when to switch colors, what colors to switch, and where to place them in the “open water” areas. I’m just enjoying watching you color. My problem is selecting color combinations. (I saw your scarf video.) I know about the color wheel. I don’t have an innate sense of color. I think one must be born with it. Thank you for the tip: checking the internet to find out the true colors of creatures. I have pinned several of your videos to my Pinterest board, “Adult Coloring Books.” Please let me know if you’d rather I remove them and I will communicate this to Pinterest.

No please keep them! Thanks for doing so. Yeah, choosing colors is really tough and sometimes I struggle too! And with colored pencil art, there’s no “undo” button if you make a bad choice like I wish there was! I’ll try to incorporate more of my thoughts around color choices in my video in the hopes it my help. Thanks so much for watching, it is much appreciated!!

I plan to Scan/copy this page to practice & audition colors first.. I love that more than one brand of color pencils were used.
