Beautiful part of England is Cumbria, the plush green valleys and foggy grey skies are my idea of romance (As an Australian I hate heat so this scene is my idea of heaven though im sure it gets bitterly cold up there when youre in it.) Thanks for the tour, I love castles too of whuch there are no shortage of in the UK. Ive always wanted to see Alnwick castle because its where they shot the first series of Blackadder in 1983.

The feel and atmosphere changes depending on the seasons…but, it does get very cold in winter!

@@DavidHarperAntiques what season is it there right now? I'm in spring so I take it that's autumn there? And since you were talking about ghosts was that old woman one?

Thanks for the video. I must admit some jealousy over the ability to go for walks and come across castles. lol Grass is greener I guess applies! Greetings from Canada.

Thank you and we all suffer from grass is greener! I’d love to be able to jump on the trans Canada train and see the sights!

How come you didn't climb over the wooden gate to get into the Castle David . As years me and my mates use to jump the wall of Rhuddlan castle . Until one night the stupid gits held hands walking round a well there and they heard screams also animal roars for me i just left them then they ran like mad and got out of the castle before me lol . Ps i have seen ghosts myself quite a few a few of them was only scared of one that was down the pit in Donny .

Pendragon, 5th century ..makes me wonder if it wasn't a Roman fortification originally and if anyone's done any digging. It's too far north for Arthur; he and Guenivere were Cornish. Romans on the other hand would make total sense, or any Englishman with a fear of marauding raiders from across the border.(LOL)
