I've listened/watched this 50 times and never get tired. The rhythms, the voices, the beauty of the dancers. The world needs more music like this. And I'm an old Italian from Brooklyn! What a lift!

This is actually a pathetic mockery of one's culture... It's a bad imitation of a favourite Milne Bay Folk song sung in the Suau language but has Trobriand Island Dancer.... There is no connection and the lyrics a terribly pronounced..... Nothing authentic about this Garbage.

@@mwasiana5545 I understand your frustration about other musical groups in PNG seeking to imitate another culture in PNG, in particular this song. It may not sound authentic in its presentation of the lyrics and the accuracy in the pronunciations of words from the Suau language, however, it is nevertheless an admirable effort to acknowledge that musicians in PNG are always making an effort to harmonise the wonderful sounds that come out of the PNG music industry. What you have to realise is that PNG has some 800 languages and more than 2000 dialects, and one of the best mediums for creating harmony and promoting the artistic ability of performers across a complex country is music. Music is also an avenue for people in PNG to learn and understand each and everyone's cultural differences. I wouldn't berate this song, or think of it as garbage, but would think of it as a different version or a variation to the original song. In the professional world of music, you will never see or hear people criticise other musicians for presenting their own version of a popular song - in fact they embrace the effort that the musical group has made to promote the song. If you know of a genuine group that can sing the original version, I'd be only too pleased to hear it, if they could upload on KZbin.
