This'll be my 6th year playing and I'm dissapointed that I didn't know this was legal😂 this information would've helped knowing I'm a setter and lots of my teams first passes go on the outside of the other teams side a lot...

Wait so as long as you don’t touch the other teams side of the court then it’s doesn’t matter and won’t be called? And does this rule apply in any country?
@almiraulimazkamka43494 жыл бұрын
Yes it does
@tetkun803 жыл бұрын
This apply only to the second ball and you need to pass it back to your court above the net also.
@wojciechmika58603 жыл бұрын
And of course ball has to go outside of the net posts
@hanfyren14543 жыл бұрын
This actually applies to the first and third touches aswell. Say your middle blocker gets a block that is out. Your team would still be allowed to go get it so long as they pass the ball back outside of the antennae. If you were to do this on the third touch, you are most likely a wizard as the ball would have to go around the antenna but it would still be allowed

The guy has done a great job with his foot but the referee are nice... the Antennas are going from the ground to the sky... the ball can't touch or virtually crosses the antennas... if you touch (with your hands) the antenna (part of the NET) when you block... = fault as well... as said... the guy is crossing his body under the antenna = fault. The referees are nice not stopping the game... as no players know this special rule in volleyball and Beach Volleyball... Yes the Antennas (even virtually), are part of the NET... :) never put your foot under the Antenna when you land after a ball hit.

So as long as its not on the opposing court?
@shartface9293 жыл бұрын
yes, and has to be the second ball. it also has to return back to your side of the net. if you are just recieving and went too far then you can step onto the other side of the net where it is not on the court

First- one player goes out for return the ball in his own court, is he cross under the net after antina line or in under playing net area, what about it? Second-A player cross the center line but he don't disturb any player of opponent team, is it ligal? Sir, answer me
@scruffy70803 жыл бұрын
as long as you dont fully step on your opponents side then its legal, thats why he stood outside the court instead of on the opponents side in the second play

@Manakyn3 жыл бұрын
1st play was legal. Didn't step on opponent's side of the court and didn't interfere with any opposing players. You could argue that he might have interfered with the left side blocker, but there was no block in the play regardless. France won the point anyway, so no one would bother to challenge. The 2nd play was most likely illegal. While he didn't step on the opponent's side of the court, he definitely interfered with the left side attacker. However, Brazil tends to get preferential treatment in subjective calls, which I don't agree with personally.
