My stick theory. It was blocked before, someone got out a stick and pushed it down to clear it and it broke off.

Ol Brad is quite the guy, welder and referrals, doesn't get much better than that! What is the gizmo that went between the vacuum breaker and the quick disconnect? Looked like a black/gray plastic thread adapter? That's a fancy faucet! We have 1/4 turns in the states.

"The truth is out there", and as Sherlock Holmes quoted ' When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. '. Someone tried to clear it and either dropped the stick, as it was deeper than they thought or it broke off. Doesn't really matter as Dr Gavin was hot on the stick, AKA "Moriarty" and took him out of the game. Sherlock wanted to smoke the pipe, Gavin told him that it was not THAT kind of pipe. Wasn't familiar with what a vacuum breaker was so I Googled it. We call them check valves in the UK. Our outside taps have two check values built in (double check valve).

A old wet Lath have the Drain block! You Fish the out the Drain, the is Unblock. Then give You a new Tap on the Wall, and all Perfect in this House 👌
