Peng Block: 3 Potential Outcomes

As a pain specialist, I perform this block to my patients who are suffered due to Coxarthrosis or avascular necrosis of hip. I also do intraarticular triamcinolone corticosteroid + bupivacaine injection at same session. In my opinion this injections really works on pain relief. Appreciated sir, greetings from Türkiye 🇹🇷

Nice but high incidence of femoral n involvement and quad weakness. Total hips need to walk with PT and go home the same day after surgery, quad weakness is a huge problem so none of our surgeons are willing to let us do these blocks
