Thanks for taking us along. WE went on Saturday to the house of 39 million lights in Woolwich Twp NJ. I never seen nothing like it. Free candy canes, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa. There are several 'Festival of Lights' neighborhoods in Alaska. The Alaska Zoo in Anchorage puts on quite a light show every year. Downtown Anchorage and nearby the city of Palmer really get in the spirit and light up the town. I Love it! If only every Baltimore neighborhood was as stable, well-kept, festive & relatively crimeless like Hampden. After I attended MICA, I rented in Hampden in the '80's before it was trendy (was razzed for it!) Now those workers' rowhouses overpriced but no denying they are cheery! At least, neighbors in Hampden (w their 2 Pink Flamingoes)were nice & helpful (ie: shoveling snow together) not like transient transplants in my DC hometown. DC ruined by New Yorkers et al. Merry Christmas! P.S. Recommend people carpool- parking limited there.
