The guy has no idea how servers work or how businesses who have major server setups work. Epic Games HQ could be absolutely trashed and the servers would still run. They're built with redundancy in mind with multiple servers set up in many different locations across the globe. If the servers there went down than the other servers in other areas will automatically pick up the slack. At WORST your ping might increase just a little bit.
