Yep, it's funny how many people think drifting in corners, especially in a kart, is faster. In a gas powered kart doing this you're basically dead. Not much better off in an electric one. In my experience racing against other people racing for fun they always divebomb me in the corners but I catch up to them on the straights and beat them by many seconds in the lap times. If you feel that you're going fast, you're most likely going slow.
