I love international snack wars. People eating food from other countries is just interesting, because it's fun to see how people who grew up with different tastes and cultures react to something totally new. It's especially fun seeing people react to things I'm familiar with.
@MrsAnnThropy
@MrsAnnThropy Жыл бұрын
I actually agree so much, it makes me want international snacks really bad lol im American so when people compare our snacks to other countries' and say "its just not as sweet" im always so curious. so many of our snacks taste like they would be better if they were just dialed back a little bit (esp fruity candy & cakes). I also really love trying the international snack boxes they have w obvious favorites and some obscure (still usually traditional) stuff. I got bean jelly in one of them and it was.. interesting. I really love being in the age of sharing cultures and it makes me happy when it's done with respect and curiosity even if its a silly funny video. food critics who "try foreign food" for ""fun"" are really really starting to irk me. this is long, im passionate about snacks n food as an experience, not just to eat 😭🤣

I'm convinced our snacks in American are designed to only be liked by children. A few of them hold up, but most get worse with age. Cosmic Brownies are absolutely fire for children. They were honestly my favorite form of "Brownie" until I trued some again 2 years ago, and it was revolting, but the kids around me loved them. Lakers hat was just hating. His friend next to him is my favorite. Lol, super open minded to the snacks. Granted Charlie and Matt gave them snacks that were really only good/nostalgic good and were different in the 90’s-early 2000’s. Keep doing these tho! I love them

Too sweet and artificial, just take that as the reason for the majority of them, and as someone that never tried American snacks, I can see that, that’s the consensus of everyone I’ve seen that tried them.

4:10 Hersheys chocolate tastes like that because they basically use sour milk to make the chocolate (hence the "puke" taste. That taste is mostly lactic acid, which separates from milk as it curdles, and coincidentally is also a decent portion of your stomach's acid as well)

You should listen to some peoples storys who fled socialist/communist hell scapes, they come here with nothing and they love capitalism.
