These are the kind of videos med students are looking for, especially for Pharm. Logical explanation, short, and to the point. There is nothing really good for pharm out there that I have seen, like this is. Just wish there were more.

Awesome video. Thank you so much. Could you please do a video on cephalosporins?
@yousratazicherti35926 жыл бұрын
For the bacteria that developed a resistance to Methicilin (MRSA), would It be then appropriate to use a fifth generation Cephalosporin as an antibiotic ? ( Maybe Clinda is one of them ?) And also, I see that different antibiotics can have a bactericidal effect on the same kind of bacteries; as an example both of Aminopenicillin and Extended spectrum penicillin work against skin flora (G+), how can I choose the appropriate one for the treatment? Thanks for all your explanations!

Great video, it gave a very nice overview. If you want to improve it, I would recommend being mindful of your handwriting, since for someone to look up the many terms in this video, it's really going to be hard with the scribbles that you use in this video. It's a good idea to take the time to properly write out the words, and maybe use more than one "slide" or page in order to make space for it. This is something I think Khan Academy generally does rather well.

outstanding. but how would you determine what antibiotic a person needs to kill the bug or infection. i mean, what procedures do the doctors take? i dont know and im going to guess, but do doctors take blood test and look at blood in microscopes and see bacteria? and if they see the bacteria, do they place the different types of antibiotics in the blood to see if they kill the infection that exists? how is it done, its so interesting. i dont want to stop learning

Wonderful video! I'm absolutely not a medical field person at all but listen to podcasts/read articles and learn in a hobby knd of way. Basically, I think this video was excellent, and so well explained that actually if you wanted to reach all audiences you wouldn't have to add a dramatic amount of information. I also thought that your explanation was so clear and precise that you should have improved graphics that match it''s qaulity. I see you have a lot of subscribers and hopefully ad revenue- and I would imagine by making those tweaks/investments you could dramatically expand your audience and make it worthwhile for yourself. (and hook in more people like me!) I learned some really interesting things today, and I thank you very much for making this video! I hope my two cents was valuable in some way :)

What videos teach HOW antibiotics work? This video shows the connection to the bacterial cell and the evolutionary fight/arms race, but what specifically in a bacterial cell is attacked by the medications from a microbiological/chemical level? What video (set) teaches those details? [I'm thinking they would have similar detail to the Covid-19 series]
