What about the penn slammer iv DX vs simple slammer iv is it really worth the price difference, is it more durable with the steel gear or is it just marketing? since you have owned the reel for over two years.I want to know your opinion since you use the reels and have drawn your conclusions. You really should fight the fish with the rod, and reel in slack with the reel. That way you won't need such a firm grip on the handle.
