2:22 I agree we shouldn’t have done the white out energy thing for Illinois, but I disagree with not doing the helmet stripe game and the stripe out. We have to do that because of Fox big noon kickoff. If our biggest game can’t be the white out, those games have to be something more than just a normal game.

Certainly not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I struggle with the whole explosive play narrative, particularly on its relevance. So far, Kotelnicki's offense is scoring less than Yurcich's offense per game (and the defense is allowing more points). How relevant are explosive plays when your not scoring as much and you definitely can't score at will?

Very true, and we haven't really been explosive in a handful of weeks. Need to see more from this group. We clearly have the talent outside of WR.

I get sick of our sport reporters talking about the receivers. They can't throw the ball to themselves and you are never going to be wide open unless you have busted coverage. Tyler Warren is not always open but Drew still will throw him the ball. He needed to have that same confidence throwing the ball to his other receivers. Also our routes are weak as we never have our guys run many crossing or slant routes. Our plays like the last 4 years are as predictable as they come. We blame the receivers every year, but never the quarterback or the scheme. Franklin still has his hand in this offense.
