Certainly feels as if trey wallace and omari evans knew a while ago they wanted to transfer out. They both played like they didnt give a shit in the orange bowl. Breaking routes off early, not fighting through contact, poor body lamguage etc. probably a win win for both teams.

makes me sad, but I completely agree. I want the players to be happy AND I want to win god damnit. I foresee another good season ahead though 🙂

Did you ever notice Drew hardly over or under threw Warren. Why because He’s where He’s supposed to be.

He definitely under through him in the Orange Bowl...and over threw Singleton in the Orange Bowl.

Good!! now let’s go snag some transfer portal 4-5 stars from down south who want more playing time!
@marshcreek435519 сағат бұрын
Unfortunately, most of the decent ones are already gone / been taken from the early portal period. Will there be any good ones when the spring portal opens? Will they just be looking for a bag? Or will they want to truly compete? Wallace and Evans will probably be what they are where ever they go.

No issues with wrs leaving as we cant really get any worse. Might as well move on to freshman and sophomores. I think if kaedan saunders is back from injury that he will contribute in 2025. I remember a bwi video comment from nearly a year ago i think, that saunders actually got open more than people think but was lower in the progression options

When implementing systems; it’s is very hard to implement & achieve success in all 3 levels on offense in the 1st year of an O coordinator’s system. You have to take a strategic approach and it makes sense to prioritize the run game & TE game considering the talents PSU had there (and success here alone can win a lot of games)… now let’s see if WR receives more attention & involvement in games in year 2. If growth is not clear considering RB & TE should have foundational stability, then uncomfortable change should happen.

I hate the "PSU fans wanted to get rid of all the WRs but now they are panicking when they leave, I DON'T GET IT!" take. How can you not realize that it's mostly different people saying these things? Being on the internet enough I understand that some people are too clueless to ever understand that, but you guys should know better. I'm fine losing Omari, I wanted to keep Trey.

@tfrank..why did KeAndre finish top 5 in the sec ???
@jamingibson42376 сағат бұрын
Kevin Coleman Junior was also top 5 in sec…. Both players were on losing programs and the reason they finished in top 5 is because they were the best offensive players for those specific teams. But just because that was the case it didn’t mean success. 3 of the top 5 wideouts in the SEC weren’t even on top teams.
@mattg988016 сағат бұрын
This team is going to be so odd next year. One of the top O-lines in the country, the best running back duo by a mile, a very solid stable of TE’s, maybe the worst receiver core in the Big10, and Allar as a Heisman candidate but will also go 13-29, 143 yards 0 TD 1 INT against Ohio State.

Also, these aren't robots that you program them and set them free. There's something called progress and learning. Hell, I promise that whatever you do for a living you weren't very good at it for a while at first. Drew made a TON of progress this year.

With all these receivers gone, Drew Alar is going to have to practice hard so he can overthrow the new group on ten yard out routes and throw behind them on crossing routes on a consistent basis. Yes, he had a 70% completion rate mostly because of Warren's great catches and short passes to the running backs. There is no game this year or last that Penn State won because Alar put the team on his back. Worth that 1.9 Million NIL HUH? Jimmy F-head coach had three years to prepare him, correct his crappy footwork and mechanics but failed so good thing he has a performance- based contract and will only earn 100K oh wait NO he earns nearly $10,000 per day every day of the year after taxes and agent fee. But hey we put the fear of God into Purdue and Maryland and Kent State, managed to get past Bowling Green too!
