I make this often, in the summer. If I can't get homegrown tomatoes from friends, I use grape tomatoes, from the store (which make a pretty decent sauce). I'm glad you shared this video, since the recipe is a life saver on a hot, busy night......Oh, I made your Tabouleh Salad (episode 374) this morning, since I knew today would be super hot...Another life saver, oh yes!!!

also try adding a few canned or jarred anchovies to the oil and garlic. they'll dissolve and add nice extra layer of flavor and boost the taste of the fish. yum.

A very yummy recipe for tuna lovers! I do this every once in a while but I make it more saucy (reddish) plus I add red onions with it, great and tasteful addition👍🏻

I would probably put some sugar in just because I prefer anything tomato to be somewhat sweet, and I live in Toronto and can never find really sweet tomatoes except for probably the cherry tomatoes...

You don’t traditionally add cheese because the flavours of the seafood but you can if you want to of course!

Here is an interesting question for you Laura? When I first saw the photo of this, my mind automatically went to a cold pasta salad. Would these flavors work like that? Chopped tomatoes, tuna, and a vinaigrette maybe with Lemon and olive oil and garlic?

I concur with everyone else, we do not use cheese with fish dishes, the cheese would overpower the fish flavor and destroy the best part of the dish.
