Pennine Way Day 7 - Malham to Horton-in-Ribblesdale

The seventh day of my through hike of the Pennine Way. A much dryer day, but the wind was up! Another of my favourite days, leaving Malahm was just jaw dropping!

Such a stunning area, glad it was a dry day for you. I spent a lot of time there camping with friends and being taught navigation skills. Long time since I've climbed Pen-y-Ghent - must make a return visit. Shame about the campsite in Horton. Love the music too 🙂

It's just a pity the tearoom in Horton has shut as well. Hopefully someone will take it on eventually. The climb up Pen-y-Ghent was scary with the weight I was carrying on my back. It made an easy climb into something quite tricky. The wind didn't help, either!
