This story just brought me to tears. You had a choice to make. And you stood tall in the midst of diversity to prove humanity and love conquers all. Thank you for your bravery and setting an example of what a hero is truly defined as. You chose love first, and that is true character. So grateful to watch the outcome be a joyful one. Despite the hardships of your past, you showed that true character is a choice. Forgiveness is a choice. May you continue to carry that peace in your heart with dignity. You saved a life. Such a true heroic action. I hope that sets a precedent in your community. That no matter what, everyone is given a choice to do the right thing. In every profession and in every walk of life..
