@blah good stuff like this happens every day across America. Maybe not that exact situation but good things do happen between officers and citizens. Well she already got away with merely 10 years, but now she wants to walk free. That's the kind of person she always was, maybe it never showed, but it was in her. This story just brought me to tears. You had a choice to make. And you stood tall in the midst of diversity to prove humanity and love conquers all. Thank you for your bravery and setting an example of what a hero is truly defined as. You chose love first, and that is true character. So grateful to watch the outcome be a joyful one. Despite the hardships of your past, you showed that true character is a choice. Forgiveness is a choice. May you continue to carry that peace in your heart with dignity. You saved a life. Such a true heroic action. I hope that sets a precedent in your community. That no matter what, everyone is given a choice to do the right thing. In every profession and in every walk of life..

Especially after all he went through accused, in the wrong and served time. There should be a Collection by officers for THE MAN WHO SAVED HIM FIRST AND FOREMOST. Another cheque from the state for his goodwill and bravery. A huge pay out for WRONGFUL INCARCERATION BEFORE THIS. Here is a wonderful unselfish not bitter human being WHO NEEDS TO BE REWARDED in addition to a thank you.
