Pennsylvania Natives | Fly Fishing Native Brook Trout North Central PA (Class A Trout Stream)

After much procrastination I finally made a trip down to north central Pennsylvania to chase wild trout. The fly fishing was amazing and the stream was gorgeous and filled with beautiful wild brook trout.

Thanks, the car is hurting but will be repaired. Yeah sometimes I forget to mention the patterns and I when I show them its hard to see cuz the gopro doesn't typically focus up close. Thats awesome that you watch all my videos, I really appreciate the support!

Almost exactly a year ago I drove through a deer while heading up to fish for brookies. And I love the guide's choice, its my number 1 go-to nymph. Literally caught hundreds of brookies with it this year alone. Nice video!

Love those little brooks, fished one yesterday, picked up some beautiful wild bows, and a wild brown. Beautiful location, thanks for sharing. Been there, done that with a deer, sucks for sure.

Another great video. I just spent a few days in the Adirondacks fishing for heritage strain brookies with JP Ross. I got to try a few of his small stream rods and now I want one for creeks like the one in this video.

Welcome to PA! Looks like you got the official welcome basket…brookies hooked on your first 2 casts but also an unfortunate run-in with a deer. Hope your car is okay. I was lucky enough to go to college in Mansfield, find a job so I didn’t have to move back to Pittsburgh, and eventually married a Tioga County girl. Wouldn’t change any of it for any job or amount of money. If you’re ever looking for advice on some spots, just let me know I’d be happy to share some info with you. We’ve got some great ice fishing down here too. Awesome slow-no footage of those takes too!
