My second comment: I very much enjoyed the tour of the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum as my vision at 75 doesn't allow me to drive any more. So thankfully I can experience the Museum thru your video. Thank you again.

I enjoyed your video tour of the Pennsylvania RR museum and Strasburg RR. We had the chance to visit both in 2021 and ride behind #475 4-8-0. Both are highly recommendable enjoyable experiences. Also recommend anyone going to Strasburg to allow time to visit the Choo Choo Barn model train museum and the National Toy Train Museum.

Amazing museum! I went there somewhat recently, and was able to see the outside yard. Seeing locos like 6755 the last M1b is definitely a good reason to go back later, if you can. It’s a good thing that they plan to build a round house, because she’s seen better days, along with the others who reside outdoors.

We've been going to the area for 30 years and it never gets old. I posted a video of engine #90 rolling coal past the Red Caboose Motel and another video of it in a snowstorm. The museum is awesome.

I wonder why Revell, Monogram, or AMT never created a line of plastic models of locomotives of all types, plus a series of rail cars as well as the caboose. They have done cars, planes, battleships and destroyers. I personally believe it would be some of the best-sellers. Young people to some of us old farts would get a kick out of building these, especially retirees. I would enjoy building them, many people in my family worked on railroads, I personally sailed in the engine room on merchant steamships built in the 1940s. Boilers were always my first love on ships. The perfect scale would be 1/36 and also 1/48 scale for beginners.

Right away at the beginning I see the locomotive pulling all of those old heavy passenger cars, which I enjoy watching. Will comment later on rest of videos.

Very nice. I've been to both the Strasburg Railroad and Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania numerous times (my grandmother lived out in Lancaster County), and credit them (along with a certain blue tank engine) with instilling a deep passion for trains and railroads within me.

Hi from UK i visited this museum and railroad on The July 4th 2022 weekend in between trips on the Mallet loco in Cumberland and the 4-8-4 in Reading. ( I’m originally from Reading in the UK , mind you so is Ricky Gervais). The museum also had a model railroad exhibition on. Oh we also visited Altoona to see the large railroad depot and freight trains. Superb video of yours!

There is an awesome program for children & young adults about the trains & how it all works. My son has a certificate that marked his knowledge @ multiple levels. Rode the train several times. Never missed visiting when we were in the area. So sad that Roadside America couldn't have been preserved as well. It was a small scale train set up that encompassed a huge supermarket sized building & had an awesome set up that always enamored my son. Who remembers & missed Roadside America?

I need to take a drive out there some weekend, been to Lancaster a bunch of times in the last 20 years but haven't been to the museum since the 90s. Now that the outlet shops are pretty much gone I could spend more of the day just at the museum.

It would be really cool if the next time you do another video on the steem engines, if you could zoom in on the round or ovel badge telling the year of manufacturer date and manufacturer on the side of the boiler. Excellent video really enjoyed it.

Is it normal for steam trains and diesel trains in Pennsylvania to appear smaller than those in California and other parts of the country? I noticed that the 460 441 layout looks smaller compared to the larger engines that are still around today and those that were used in the past?

Sadly, your voice and clear diction sound like #NSModeler24 We all suspect you lost your life in Asheville, NC in the flooding. We are sure you died trying to save as many people as you could. The Yards of Asheville was your favorite model railroading. And, the 2-car Cage to roll the cars and dump the coal as it flowed into lower level storage only to be the loading point of the coal. Such a wonderful model railroad. You will be greatly missed. But, a hero. Welcome to Heaven and Eternity in Jesus - then - our Brother!
