I just adore this show. The Vanessa/Ethan bond is just so amazing, their chemistry leaps off the screen. You feel physically feel the horror, anger and fear that Eve Green projects. The dialog and costume come only second to the amazing acting. BUT I am still mad that Vanessa didn't recognize Brona. However that is my only quibble.

I like Ethan, I do... but I also hate him for walking away from Vanessa. Like, he said here as if he would be there for Vanessa who was clearly devastated by her hard life. Ethan made it, for a moment, felt easier for her to bear everything but then, at the end...he left her. Oh Ethan, you give love a bad name!

I was WAITING for Lily and Ethan to come face to face.. never happened. Waited for him to rescue Vanessa, never happened. Waited for him to grow a brain and ditch Hecate, never happened.. he definitely flew through his options though.

The characters in this show don't speak of it in as many words but I can apply this line of dialogue about how I feel fighting depression, lonliness, suicide and giving into dark and destructive behaviors to give into it a little bit. Just a little bit.

They rushed the ending to this fantastic show. It should've been at least 5 seasons and it definitely shouldn't have ended with her just surrendering. Him leaving her to travel through the desert with Hectate was a complete contradiction to his character also.
