To celebrate the 45 birthday of Penny Hardaway i made this mix of him in Orlando Magic .... his 3 first seasons in NBA (1993/1996).
He was a very smart player and beautifull to watch with his all around skills .... 8 minutes of pleasure.

I look back an I appreciate that I lived in Orlando back in those days an it was such a pleasure to have seen penny hardaway play basketball, I still believe that all the injuries robbed him from his greatness ,he could have been one of the greatest of all time,in my book he is right next to Jordan as one of the greatest of all time, but I believe he is blessed for the fact that he is coaching I believe is a high school team in his home town in Tennessee, an that in itself makes him the greatest in my book

The first time I ever laid eyes on Penny Hardaway playing basketball coming out of the 12th grade. I never wore any other Jersey I immediately change my Michael Jordan jersey to Penny Hardaway. Because I knew his game was more complete than Michael Jordan. And of course me being from Memphis Tennessee made it all worthwhile.

Prime Penny was a unicorn talent that had alot of poster dunks and crafty Anklebreaking plays whom arguably was the most versatile guard in the 90s era. Even as a 6'7" Point guard he was a match up nightmare with his lethal midpost game, elegant pull up 3point shooting ability which open up seams to display his extrodinary passing .

wow... enough with the Grant and T-mac... or Kobe comparisons, watched all of them and none of these 3 players had what Hardaway had in his first 2 1/2 seasons in the NBA before injuries robbed him of his quickness and athleticism. Hardaway never reached his prime, his potential would've been absolutely incredible if it weren't for the injuries.

Penny Hardaway was so exciting to watch, really enjoyed his career before injury. Not many guys played that PG spot like Penny, his height, speed and quickness and athleticism was a real problem for opposing teams and players, he was Magic Johnson mixed in with Dominique Wilkins. Easily would have been a Hall of Famer and top 10 players of all time if his body let him play a full career. Could also have won multiple titles if Shaq stayed and health wasn't an issue. Think about it, Kobe would not have won 3 titles and Penny might have had that glory instead. In an alternate dimension perhaps lol

Jay TS a prime Penny without injuries is a better player than LeBron. You want to know the reason why? Penny Hardaway could get his shot whenever he wanted to wherever he wanted to. Remember the Dallas Mavericks series? LeBron basically lost that series because he could not get his shot in the paint over Shawn Marion, when Penny Hardaway would have put Shawn Marion on that block and treat him like a baby it'll be like stealing candy. But LeBron is a greater player as anyone I've ever seen
