Somehow you just keep getting better. Thank you for sharing these videos with all of us. They bring me peace in these tough times.

Crazy good as always Those chords and changes are of an extreme level of difficulty and to get them all clean ... lots of strength muscle memory and training and thousands of hours of practice and even then 99.8% of the guitarist population won’t accomplish this level of achievement Not to even mention what a great ear and level of imagination to incorporate all the subtle harmonies walking bass lines etcccccccc

Thank you for kindly comment taxi5969! This was one of the most difficult arrangement, but as I kept playing, it became an arrangement that I can play whenever people asks me to "play something". It is a kind of arrangement that lifts my skill up a step.

peacejoytown you are seriously talented and blessed. Most people (non-musicians, non-guitarists in particular), will have no idea just how hard the level of difficulty this arrangement is Equally impressive is your arrangement I’ve browsed through a few dozen of your videos and I find it humorous the number of people comparing you and Sungha... you’re both amazing talents and both prodigy’s even I don’t know either of you but you strike me as someone who has to work harder for it.. studies and practiced probably for your whole life .. both with natural talent and a sharp ear for music that’s been refined throughout the years because of your hard work and dedication. He strikes me as someone who had strict parents, possibly a wealthy family but I’m digressing What I really love is how some people immediately assume you “took his arrangements”, and then seeing your reply that it was the other way around didn’t surprise me (I saw the comments on a few of your videos - most recently I saw it on hour Obla di obli da video from 11 years ago You’re obviously lesser known /less famous then Sungha (you also strike me as far more humble and possibly just without the connections or financial backing he appears to have on his side ) You’re both amazing but my preference is your style and to watch you. As Ana aspiring hard working self teaching guitarist I only started getting into music theory within the last 18-24 months and have been playing guitar now about 4-5 years but with work and everything else my practice time is limited to 3-5 hours a week on average. I said in previous video when the corona virus shutdown lifts and life returns to normal and I’m back to my standard revenue stream and work I plan to show my support and gratitude for the work you do and for all your efforts

Anybody who sticks to one thing for 50 years will eventually get to the point where you feel a bit of progress sometimes @@Samscoinsandheavymetal. Actually, there were quite a few people thought I was his father and blamed me that I should let him play with other kids. He really liked those songs from 60s and 70s. I remember he commented "I want to play this" on my The Boxer video. I didn't have score written out for the arrangement yet, so I just replied "just steal it from the video". When I went to Germany that year (2008), the guitar teacher I met there had written out scores for many of my arrangements based on Sungha's rendition and when I was playing, he pointed out some mistakes where Sungha mis-stole from mine. I just had to smile. For now, just stay safe and I hope to see you in person if I survive through this big act.

I learned this arrangement of yours years ago from your original video. At this point its become one of my favorite pieces to play. Thanks for the update. Seems like your playing it note for note as the original, but the opening line has a slightly different feel. So I went and listened to the Beatles and this is more true to the record. I bit more swing to it, not so much straight eighths. I like it, now I have to relearn it this way. Thank you for putting the effort to make this available.

It’s like a dance between pick hand and fret hand isn’t it? Albeit a very intricate,difficult dance.
@peacejoytown4 жыл бұрын
Once the fingers start dancing, all you need to do is just let them dance and your whole body cooperate as it should be using minimum power. In this way, this is an easy piece.
