PennyPacker Bourbon Review

In Germany you get this bottle for around 10€(~11,50$). It is one of the better "bottom shelf" bourbons. Really strange that it is shipped from Kentucky to Germany in tanks, bottled in Hamburg and shipped back to the US ... :)

Its shipped in tanks to germany and bottled here so they can save money because of taxes. So they have a bourbon with a good price for the european market. I hope it taste nice bought it long ago but didnt try it

Where did you pick up that its from Bardstown? My bottle (2020 design) states Distilled in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

Afraid of it because it was bottled in Germany :D We have very high standards concerning food and drink so don't worry. Are german produced whiskies any good? That's a different matter and I really don't know.

Glina distillery is worth checking out, they originate from Werder, a small town in Brandenburg.

bought this and a wild turkey rare breed. definitely a difference but worth the money

I'm just sampling a bottle of this now. Nothing wrong with it so far but it is totally uninteresting. It is a very run of the mill drink. I can't say I was picking up the same flavors as you have though. To me, it was just bourbon minus that extra something that makes you want to buy another bottle.
