My favorite Nirvana song. Unlike many of their tracks that rely on hooks and ironic/sarcastic lyrics Kurt, for a rare time, gets obvious and personal, with some of his greatest lines ever. And the music matches the feeling of hopelessness so perfectly. I relate to this song so much. 25 years ago today a troubled genius was lost.

this wasn’t uploaded for the comments to be flooded with unnecessary mentioning about drugs. it was uploaded to be watched because it’s a performance we all wish we could have seen then, and enjoy the fact it even exists.

For those who are wondering what's "Nulle Part Ailleurs", It's a French TV show that used to air on the premium tv channel, Canal+ from 1987 to 2001 (Canal+ is basically the French equivalent to HBO and Showtime.).

Perfect? What the passing of Kurt was perfect? You can’t mean that, cam you? I agree. Music isnt what it was in the 90s. It was a special time. Vs chorus vs chorus bridge chorus etc.... simple powerful emotional. Awesome. But how was it a perfect ending ? Sorry to interject I barely ever comment but reading that made me uneasy. How In the fu€¥ can this person say a death was perfect? What in the fu€£ are you saying ? Just pissed me off a bit so please elaborate.

@@Crazy_Rider299 Except in this performance, where Kurt ad libbed; "Give me a Leonard Nimoy afterworld." Of course, he occasionally played with the lyrics here and there, maybe to amuse himself and make things a bit more unique to different performances. Another example of Kurt ad libbing is one performance of Territorial Pissings from 1991 or 1992, where Kurt said "Just because you're cliched, don't mean you can't have cake." I forgot which performance that was, though, sorry.
