My favorite Nirvana song. Unlike many of their tracks that rely on hooks and ironic/sarcastic lyrics Kurt, for a rare time, gets obvious and personal, with some of his greatest lines ever. And the music matches the feeling of hopelessness so perfectly. I relate to this song so much. 25 years ago today a troubled genius was lost.

I obviously miss Nirvana, but i only watch Nirvana or Kurt interviews, not interviews with just Dave or Chris because as much as i like the band, i like Kurt personally much more, so don't fucking tell me or anyone else what to miss or what not to miss.

I was a teenager back then I realize now that "Nulle Part Ailleurs" had very good live performances: this, Alanis Morissette "you oughta know", the smashing pumpkins "bullet with butterfly wings" or garbage "stupid girl" => all excellent !

In 1994 I was 16 years old. The first time I heard Nirvana was with the Nevermind cassette. For me this is and remains one of the most moving songs of all time. Not to forget, Smells like Teen Spirit, Lithium, Come as you are, Heart Shaped Box, in Bloom, Polly and so on and so on

What force to be reckoned with this group was back in the day. Coming from a pretty jazzed up background I can think that this guy was rock and roll incarnated but at the same time he was jazz incarnated, a greatly emotional musician who put out amazing records and even more amazing shows jus t to die young and leaving a sensation of unfulfilled expectations. To me he is just as great of a musician as miles, coltrane, dizzy, duke jaco or so on...
