The old guy in minute 23:57 is Stephen King, author of It and maaany scary books, legend

Its weird.. i saw this in theatres and watched a second time for Halloween a few years ago but nvr noticed Stephen King till i saw this reaction...i luv how he said i didnt like the ending to Mikes book cause i know many adore his books but he has had a lot of complaints on the endings of his stories for some reason.. so that was funny with him making a joke about it..
@AscendedXSaiyanАй бұрын
@@garydodd2837Many don't appreciate his endings cause he never really sticks them. He usually amps up to it, the ending happens...and for me anyway it usually feels anticlimactic. Even while reading IT, when I finished I was left disappointed by how it ends

The original It (1990) starring Tim Curry as Pennywise is definitely worth watching, even if not for the channel. Its not as scary but closer to the novel than the remake. Thanks for the great videos guys.
@AscendedXSaiyanАй бұрын
I slightly disagree. I feel the remake was closer to the source material overall. The original strayed far from it in a few parts, but was otherwise still a great adaption in it's own right

IT is undoubtedly a film that connects us with childhood, and childhood is a time when fears are experienced in a more intense way and everyone remembers those experiences, especially those that have the greatest impact on you.
@mikeshimmel3561Ай бұрын
The store owner who sold the bike to Bill is Steven King. He created IT and wrote the book which is absolutely more horrifying than the movies. So much so that King received death threats after publishing it. This was mostly due to a graphic scene involving the children after they thought they had killed Pennywise. This scene couldn’t be put in any of the films let’s just say, as to remain appropriate.

I love the casting for the adult Losers Club so much. Especially Jessica Chastain as Bev and Bill Hader as Richie "Trashmouth" Tozier. One of the creepiest parts in Chapter II is when the Losers Club is at the Chinese restaurant and they start getting tormented by Pennywise. And how the Old Spice guy was Mike Hanlon. lol Side note: The fact that one of Pennywise's eyes is wonky isn't a special effect, Bill Skarsgård can actually do that with his eyes....same with the creepy smile.

First Pennywise does also kill adults it's just children's fears are more simplistic aka clown, werewolf etc. and not as abstract identity crisis, bills etc. That it prefers to go after kids. Also this is symbolism about trauma. When they left Derry, they forget everything and all become really successful. However if you noticed Bill is still in love with Beverly tho he can't remember and tho he loves his wife she's literally identical to Beverly red hair eyes and all, Beverly marries an abusive man like her dad, Eddie married someone like his mom and so on. When they finally defeat It the last time and even Henry finally leaves town they completely forget forever. Also there's hints that the Losers club have the power of the shining.
