I find it often helps me empty some pens. I think the best I did was about 15 pens in one month, but I often have a lot of pens inked up for creating my videos.

I’m trying currently to rotate a bunch of stuff out and try to put in rotation some unused Conklin all Americans I have to see what I think . I got 2x stands to put inked pens out at my desk and a case for the remainder on Amazon whatever it was day .

I struggle keeping the number of inked pens low. I try and have a monthly theme to help with that.

To me it looks like another tough month. I would say the Leonardo but the Pilot and the Laban are tough contenders as is the Kaigelu. I am not forgetting the TWSBI or the Asvine. It is a tough month. I have to get the Laban for myself.

The fun part this month is that most of the inks are shimmers, so it will be interesting if they cause any flow issues.

what nobody has explained to me when using a converter. As you go along and use up ink, do you have to open in and twist the top to move the plunger down? Or like a cartridge do you put it in and forget it until it has run out.

This is a really good question. The simple answer is that you shouldn't need to continually twist the piston down as you use the ink, but... if you're having ink flow issues, so the ink is not coming out of the nib you can turn the knob enough to get a drop of ink out of the nib, make sure you're doing it over some scrap paper. This "primes" the feed and should help. Once the converter is nearly empty I do find that twisting the piston all the way down often pushes a little bit of ink into the nib, and I can then write another couple of lines.
