Yea I know from experience a lot of trips don’t catch anything interesting. I almost bought a little boat just like your used a week ago but missed it! Prices are crazy right now so when a decent deal pops up it is gone fast!

Really enjoying your channel. My wife & I plan to become area residents in the next few years. We just love the whole saltwater fishing atmosphere. We love fishing our clear water lakes here in Southern Missouri but saltwater fishing takes it to a whole other level. Part of the fun is you never know what your going to catch next. I feel you Ron, there is a learning curve to working a conventional set up. Those big Pena’s can handle monsters but they definitely take some getting used too. Try working some vertical jigs in the deeper water, it’s a good way to get a feel for working them.

I saw in Brants video you tightened the drag on the Squall while it’s in gear, just be mindful when you do that cause it can really crush and mess up your gears.

Slap yo mama blackening, paprika, himilayan sea salt and a little cajun. Only about 3-5 minutes per side
