That's great!! Its soooo nice to see a good baseball fight instead of that "review the decision" crap by some guys in New York. I have really missed the passion this summer I hope MLB gets rid of the "review". Baseball should and needs to remain pure. Making things go faster for a world that's going to fast to sit on the porch and listen to 162 games on the rsdio is bleeding out the emotion of the game. You can't be a baseball fan an miss and inning, why would you? A Baseball season is a drama, a soap opera, a new story everyday. Its the best ....from pregame to post game (3pm-12am in Cincy WLW 700am)....the best. Skipworth was called up to the Reds today and I hope he brings that fire with him. Welcome to Cincinnati Kyle...good Luck !! I think the Reds brought him up to trade him maybe. The Reds will only have ten days to decide to keep him or outright him.

easiest way to stop this behavior, especially with arguing balls and strikes, as an umpire myself I just don't grant time and keep giving strikes for delay of game to the batter. That in the past has gotten them off the field pretty quick

My son and I were there that night. It was hilarious. We typically went to about 2 games a month back then. My son was 9 and just beginning to understand the difference between the cultures of kid/amateur baseball and that of pro baseball. I had just started allowing him to playfully boo the ump, while reminding him that he should never do that at his kid-league games. (The poor blue probably couldn't even hear us out in right field.) Anyway, when Pat Kelly started going bonkers, my son got caught up in the frenzy and was yelling and laughing like a little mad man. 😄 So, yes, I had created a monster, with Pat Kelly's expert help.

Dashcam Québec it doesn't work but that's not the point. It can sure fire up a ballclub though! I love those great "clear both dugouts" kinda brawls. Nothing like baseball!! 162 days a year, plus spring training games and post season, its there, always offering life structure and consistency on a field of green....the best.

Nobody was trying to intimidate the umpire into changing the decision. They got kicked out for telling the umpire how much he sucks.
