BTOB can compose, and produced their own song. most of their songs is composed and written by Hyunsik. Ilhoon, Peniel, and even Minhyuk writes songs for BTOB.

Really cool to see you react to Beautiful and Violet. Violet is my personal favorite Pentagon song and it was released late 2017! It was actually the song that fully made me commit to seriously becoming a Universe. Before I was really just a fan of them and really liked them, but god when they dropped Violet everything changed. And to put it frankly, it feels like it was the best decision of my life thus far. Even with all of the rollercoaster of events that’s happened, I really don’t regret supporting such a talented and resilient group.

I adore Violet. Definitely has made me cry before, but Beautiful also has a special place in my heart. During that song we all held our little Banners with messages to Pentagon in the air during the concert.

I'm not sure if anyone's talked about this yet, but I really love the original Violet music video. All of the members represent different stages of a relationship that inevitably fails. It's not as cinematically stunning as Daisy, but it's beautiful in its own way - and still a favorite of mine. And Pentagon has so. many. good. songs. But, man... Violet holds a special place in my heart. I couldn't tell you why. I just know that I adore everything about it.

Hi! I'm so glad that you checked out Beautiful and Violet! Two wonderful yet underrated b-sides. If I remember correctly, Ilhoon left the group BtoB earlier this year, amidst a controversy. I love both , but I'm definitely a sucker for ballads, so I'm going with Beautiful. If you like Kino - produced songs, I recommend checking out his song Poison with Unordinary Sunday. And yes, Kino is the interim leader, and he's doing a fantastic job!

I have a soft spot for Beautiful. I just love it so much. It makes me happy & comforts me. And Kino drops nothing but AMAZING songs. All the b-sides he wrote are very cherished in the fandom: Violet, Spring Snow, Beautiful Goodbye and my personal fave Off-road.

Violet and beautiful are one of my fav, this is my personal taste because I looove ballads from pentagon, their VOICES are amazing, they really are an amazing group, and when the time pass they become more confident and talented, so they blase my ears. Another bsides that are amazing are beautiful (weth mini álbum) camellia (ballad produce or write by yuto I dont remember) and 1+1 from the NEW álbum. But i cant choose really, they have so many, I really love their japaneses songs cosmo and happines too.

I love the music clips too! They're so fun. Another b-side with similar vibes to this that has a great music clip is Let's Go Together. Some other legendary b-sides I hope you'll listen to (even if it's just on your own time!) are Lost Paradise + Till (hip-hop unit song + ballad unit song), Fantasystic (dance practice), and round 1 + round 2. I feel like I've noticed Kino is really good at layering different interesting instrumentals. For example his ptg song Skateboard, his MOLA collab PUTP, and a lot of his solo songs like Badtiming and Lonely.

I’m glad you checked out these side tracks. Violet really is one of my favorite Pentagon songs, though that weird feeling around Dawn definitely lingers even now. But all of Kino’s songs really have a different feel to Hui’s, and, while they’re both fantastic composers, I’ve realized many of my favorite Pentagon tracks are Kino’s haha. This might be a bit late, but you should check out Round 1 and Round 2! They’re both just Pentagon really having fun with each other. Both performance vids are on KZbin tho the second doesn’t have Yanan since he’s on hiatus, even tho the original song does have him.

the thing about Dawn is the same for Ilhoon too, and Junhyung from Highlight too, all these rappers were producers for their groups and had such unique tones that their group's songs seem to be missing something now without them, i used to listen to all their solo stuff even when they were part of their groups so its hard for me to get over them, like DAWN's organic song, ilhoon's she's gone, or junhyung's go away, sudden shower among others, its just sad i guess...
