The model mixture is the bridge was extremely cool, for me. I loved how dark the atmosphere of the song was until the bridge, where it felt like droplets of vibrant, bright colors being dropped on a black voided canvas and all the colors had no boundaries, went everywhere, and felt limitless.

Okay, as for me, yes at my first listen to this song it didnt hit me so much in the chorus part. BUT when i listen to it by my own with quiet surrounding, i really2 get hit by the chorus tho. Even it is still stuck in my head maybe until forever. U didnt get the hit bcs it was ur first listen. That is why pentagon songs are interesting, bcs at first u feel like ohh this is just a normal kind of song. But later, after u listen to it for the second, third time, it will stuck in your head and even in your tongue! This is just my opinion. Btw, i love this song so so much, it really different with their other songs and pentagon is the only kpop group that i stan. They also the one who brings me into kpop. So, just recommend me whatever popular or not popular group to me, i wont feel interested to become a fan of them😅 but i do like other kpop group songs, dont worry. Lets support each other and i am a hardcore universe!!

I feel this way with a lot of groups😅. I would listen to a song for the first time and hate it, but soon love it after I take a break, process everything, and find what makes the song special. If you like this dark style, I do recommend ‘OnlyOneOf’s Fragile’. It’s a very underrated b-side and is one of my favorites in all of kpop. 😁

I feel that way about half the K-pop songs i listen to. Always takes a few listens. Tho it is kinda interesting that its usually the chorus that dosent do it for me. Had this issue With Bts's Mikrokosmos, really like the song, just not the chorus. So far its the same with Dr Bebe

I don't know if you guys know already, but Jinho has an project in Pentagon's YT channel called 'Magazine Ho' and he does such great things there... that kind of things that we even don't expect from kpop idols. The recent song he released with Kino is totally mindblowing. If you haven't seen it, you should at least check it out, you would be really surprised 😊.

this comeback is beyond amazing! pentagon really snapped EXTRA SNAPPED and they outdid themselves. everything about this song, the choreo, the costumes. it's so depressing, psychotic and overwhelming. as expected from pentagon, they ARE unpredictable but even so, every concept they brought always scream THEM. the whole album is so amazing as well, everyone needs to listen!

I love the stomping opening so much and literally spent the whole rest of the song wanting it to come back but it doesn't. If I hadn't listened to the opening, I think I'd have liked the rest of the song more, does that make sense? Because the rest isn't bad, but I love love the opening, it's almost like a dark country sound. Anyway, I agree with Kevin I suppose, but in a less educated way. *sigh*

Ameen Freeman also I figured out that the bass lines for each chorus in both songs start within a g minor range. The bass line for theses two songs starts off with the note g then to bflat, then to an e flat , then to the last note a d. Even in seventeen fear they have a slight variation of this base lines which starts from the note g to and f natural then to the b flat so that’s mostly likely why they sound similar ✨

one thing i think they could've done to improve the song a bit is use some stuff from the intro like use the stomping and clapping and possibly turn it into a drum or 808 pattern in other parts of the song and also maybe take the chanty singing part and maybe turn that into a bass line by either just lowering the pitch or maybe doing the same thing but with a bass synth or something like that. just my opinion tho.

I like this difference in opinions :) I feel like this pentagon song is more driven by the vocals, hidden vocals, vocal layering than the music itself. I agree with Kevin that the chorus is the weakest part of the song. But we need some calm in the song like Umu said. I love the song tho and I've been listening it repeatedly:)
