That’s what I think with some arrangements and they always prove me wrong. I remember back in 2017 when they released Bohemian Rhapsody, I was like.. there is no way they can do this LIVE and here they are still killing it.

I don’t know. You can hear him say it if you listen close and the way he is actually pulling his pants. He doesn’t usually adjust his mic like that. He just reaches behind. He is always cute

While it's not my favorite PTX song, this live recording is probably the best sounding LIVE song I've heard from them. The problem (okay, MY problem) with live videos (not just PTX, live generally) is the usually horrible recording quality. As to their actual voices... I didn't pick up on ANY out of tune chords, which is phenomenal for any a cappella group and ANY song. Bravo PTX!!!

@@PtxXtp Thank you both for saying this. I watched shallow and was so upset for Mitch bc you COULD NOT HEAR HIM ON HIS SOLO!! I'm pretty sure he was upset too bc I thought he was going knock his arm out of the socket when he threw it down at the end of the solo. Lol

@geriatricPTXer see my comment above but I am so glad you said something!! There was bad mic balance on almost every song. Could that be why they did the impromptu "river" performance? To get the sound guys to balance the mics? It sounded to me like Scott was sick but that was probably just me.

@@lexymich22 yep. I don't really care for shallow but I turned my camera on right at Mitch's part in shallow because thats my favorite part and I couldn't even hear him at all. All I heard was Scott. Before Hollywood bowl I never even realized Scott sings at the same time as Mitch right there.

@@lexymich22 to me it seemed like only Mitch’s mic was low and Kirstie’s seemed a little loud. The rest seemed okay to me. Maybe their usual sound guy wasn’t with them this time? I know he usually gets them balanced perfectly as he’s been their sound person for years. I didn’t notice Scott sounding sick but I do think he was trying to sing more over the top than sometimes.

Ohhh that was sooooo cool!!!! They killed it every second of it. Very interesting to hear Matt's bass so well. And his voice in Believe is beautiful !!! The only thing I didn't like was Scott improvising way too much.He's so amazing in the medley but here he didn't deliver as much as we all know he usually does. I love him, next time he'll be great.

Yes unfortunately the Hollywood Bowl crowds can be a little more subdued. This was my 7th concert of theirs and unfortunately most people just sit there and don't dance around. Usually the more energetic crowds for them are shows in other countries. We american fans can be pretty boring. I wanted to dance around.

I don't understand why people continue to bring up Avi 5 years later? He was never even involved in this medley and probably would have hated every second of it. Not his kind of music. He's happy as a solo artist doing his own style and ptx is happy with Matt. Just celebrated his 5 years with them.
