you should watch their version of radioactive. You get to see Kevin play his cello and it is featuring Lindsey Sterling (and her amazing Violin skills). Its a much more haunting and feeling evoking version than the original. Also, get into some of their originals, they are amazing too. NOTHING of there's is disappointing! Love watching your facial expressions as you experience more and more PTX--keep em coming!

Today I discovered your channel. I like the way you react to the singers and especially the Pentatonix that I adore. They are incredible. Their versions of Christmas songs are simply magical: dramatic, melodic and dynamic, fresh and not at all boring. Highly recommend "Сome Аlong", "Gold"(Kiiara Cover), "Jolene" with Dolly Parton, "If I Ever Fall in Love" (ft. Jason Derulo), "I Need Your Love" (Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding Cover), "Run to You", "Cheerleader" (OMI Cover). These are all undoubted masterpieces. I will wait for your reactions! Good luck!

That's been weighing heavily on my mind lately... PTX being on pause mid-tour, and the music world in general has been "silenced" in a way by Covid-19. PTX was in the middle of a world tour and they were literally headed to Milan when Italy shut it's borders. All musicians are unable to perform in concert right now. I have seen some crazy good free live performances on KZbin, Instagram, IGTV and TicToc tho! PTX will be heading your way though when things normalize! Seriously.. be on the lookout cause you guys were coming up quickly!

That's one of my favourite things about PTX - their versatility! Even when you go back and watch their sing-off performances you can see how they managed to make every style fit them (current hits, 60s, hip hop, rock, country, new and classic R&B etc.). I really think it's time you react to those performances Kassi. You won't regret it - I promise! Small advice if you do that - remember to watch the full clip: intro packages, performance, judges comments and interviews at the end. There are 15 performances in total (including their winner song) - but most only focus on the first 12.

Yes you need to see Sing Off because that's pretty much where they came from, the core three Mitch, Scott, and Kirsty were togetehr before High School, but Kevin and Avi were added specifically for the Sing Off. And they won, not surprisingly.

Hot take: PTX Vol II was their best cover album. This was peak Pentatonix before they started doing original pieces. Some of my absolute favorites came from this time periods: "Aha!", "Can't Hold Us," "La La Latch," etc. Not that their later covers have been bad. I just really liked the energy and approach they had back then. They've definitely evolved past that as a group.

If you want to see PTX in its earliest iteration, I suggest watching their performances on the Sing Off. It's a singing competition for a Capella groups. That's where they first came together as a group. They have, I think 16 performances, but you MUST react to, in no particular order, Love Lockdown, Video Killed the Radio Star, Let's Get It On, Born to be Wild and Stuck Like Glue. All of their performances are jaw-dropping, but this grouping really shows off their versatility. I would also throw in E.T. It's their very first performance on the show.

Kasian, Citizen Queen was formed by Ben Bram, Scott Hoying and another producer with alumni of the Acapella Academy. They are very good. My favorite is "Never Enough", but they are amazing in anything they do. Scott's (and Pentatonix) dream of bringing Acapella music to the mainstream is continuing to grow. I'm looking forward to more from each of them.
