They did this entire recording separately from each other in their own home studios and each audio piece was put together by Ben Bram in post-production. Imagine creating harmonies this intricate without the ability to hear what any other member was singing. The entire At Home EP from last year was put together this way, and as a result, I feel it was their best work to date (that has since been topped by the Lucky Ones album), and didn't really receive the accolades it should have due to the complexity of the production. In retrospect, the videos from the EP were simple to do compared to the audio. And I agree with your take on Kirstie. I think she's just so naturally charismatic that she can just seduce the camera without even realizing she's doing it. I love watching interviews or other non-singing videos with her because she just radiates this aura around her that is VERY magnetic...always so positive and genuine. Needless to say, she is my favorite member, and I have LOVED to watch how much she has come out of her shell and started to shine so brightly on all the stuff they've done in the last couple of years.

I agree. I was going to point-out that this was during quarantine, and everyone was secluded basically.. They each had their own backdrop, and I think it was in " Home ", that Kevin's backdrop featured their 3 grammys.

I'm so impressed by how they have taken so many beautiful aspects of the Cranberries' video and incorporated into this. The original has the same ethereal feel. Apparently Dolores O' Rhiordan was very much a favourite of Mitch and this was done as a tribute to her following her untimely passing. Great reaction, thank you :)

I love when they do 5 part harmonies. Here Matt drops the bass and sings as the 5th part. - 2 others that come to mind are their original Run to You and their cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love. I think Imagine is 5 part harmonies. You should check out their recent live performance of Seasons of Love (from Rent) as part of this year’s Capital Fourth show. Kirstin is outstanding ✌️💚

I really enjoyed your analysis! One thing that I have noticed watching a lot of PTX reaction videos (cause I am OBSESSED lol) is that the great majority of romantic and sexual comments/observations are directed at Kirstie. I get that straight dudes (among others) find her attractive. She is very beautiful, and her warmth and charm shine through in a way that is captivating and makes people feel connected to her. As a fan of PTX (and PTX reactions!) it gets a little old, is all. Perhaps you will appreciate me sharing my thoughts, perhaps not, but because you seem like a nice person and I want to watch more of your videos, I am putting it out there.

I love this one. I agree with all of your comments. The visuals, harmonies, Matt's bassline, Mitch's yodel singing, etc. They did Dolores and The Cranberries justice. The entire album and videos were done last year while on lock down. Impressive, right?! When The Party's Over and Cologne are my favorites. I wish they had done a video for Cologne. It's such a great upbeat song. And I'd love to see how Kevin is doing the insane beatboxing. Still well worth a listen! 🔥

Great reaction. Thanks. I enjoyed the film making info that you gave. Their At Home EP consisted of 6 songs. They made videos for 5 of them. Please react to the others also. It's amazing what they did from their individual homes. They had to learn how to set up and to use the equipment to record themselves for audio and video for the project.

This song showcases their harmonies so beautifully. Without the beatboxing it shines even more than usual and also allow Kevin to have an equal role in the singing making it 5-part harmony rather than the usual 4-part, adding even more richness than usual. I am SO glad you understand the post poduction on the vocals. Too many reactors/reviewers think what they hear, comes out of their mouths exactly as it's presented in the vid. They have incredible talent but that is not all that goes into their slick, heavenly creations. The elocution of 'vignette' is .....VIN-YET ..... and the extended construct is 'vignette effects' (no 'ing') ... Thank you, Your pronunciation Nazi who doesn't want people to sound uneducated (even though they're not) especially in their own field. Post script: Love your channel and have subscribed.

Thanks, Jeffrey, I always enjoy your reactions and you sharing your knowledge with us on how some of the "special effects" are accomplished by their editors and videographers. In this one, we get the EXTRA treat of hearing Kevin's voice raised along with the other members of the group. It's to easy to see him as only the beatboxer (he is one of the very few truly awesome beatboxers performing today), but his voice is also spectacular, as we see this time.
