SO PROUD OF PENTATONIX!!!💯🤗 Did you hear the crowd chanting PTX! PTX! PTX!!. Also all the people in yellow shirts are Avi's peeps! His parents, sister, brother, grandparents, friends ect... I LOVE PTX SO MUCH! They changed Acapella FOREVER!!!⭐ Dennis when you react to their return on season 4 look for the longer clip where they meet the remaining final groups on that season!!

I LOVED this reaction video, and I completely agree; God stepped in and more than that, PTX at such a young age had the courage and the wisdom to let Him take over. I have always thought that there was a greater plan at work, and when they toured Australia a couple of years ago, the kids and I had the privilege of meeting them and they were so gracious and humble. The meeting confirmed my belief that PTX was brought together for their shared purpose of changing the world, one song at a time. Thank you, King Fam. Bless you

I love their performance as guests at the final show of the following season - left no doubt that they were worthy of the crown. Touching to see Mitch and Kirsti holding hands waiting to hear the result and great sportsmanship shared by all, all season long. The little group that could!

Yeah, I got to watch this live. Always thought Avi's comment about wanting to do this forever with these guys jinxed it. He the only one who left the group. To fill out the show they would have all featured groups of the week do a group sing. Was great to see the emotion, but I did yell at the TV during that long pause before announcing Pentatonix is the winner! Thanks for reacting to this whole season!

Thank you for reacting to the finale. Pentatonix deserved to win and they did win. There were some amazing groups that season.

If you ever get the chance, sit down and watch the entire sing off season 3. It takes a few hours, but you can see all of the opening songs. Worth it. You see that PTX get a lot of the solos

Please react to their return to preform on Season 4. The return is stunning to see how much better they are and the absolute love they receive from the audience and the worlds first Pentaholic, Sean! It’s a wonderful performance

Bummed that you're putting off their season 4 performance...........it's so good and gets left out all the time. I've been waiting for it.

Every group had a swan song prepared since the beginning as the eliminated group(s) always sang at the end. PTX obviously never had to, but they still had one prepared that they used a couple of times in concert in the early years (and it appears in one of their medleys). It was "Bye Bye Bye" by N'SYNC :)

Poor Mitch and Kirstie. They both looked about ready to pass out, poor things. And yeah, I saw that one guy in the middle of the front row jumping up like, "YEAH!" when PTX won. It's so sweet how so many of those groups grew to love each other and support each other. So nice to see.

I love that even the dramatic waiting music is A Capella. Sony was a fool when they dropped their contract. Dartmouth Aires are regularly at the top of college A Capella competitions, and have won several times. A show of what sportsmanship is supposed to be.

I am glad that you have taken the time to go through Pentatonix Sing Off performances. It's okay. Pentaholics are happy to watch quality reactions to PTX no matter how long it takes to get through them. I am also a big Home Fry too. It's the bass singers for me.

I don't know about Urban Method people but Michael... usually main lead for Dartmouth... did a solo album and was a soloist for the Kenya group in Pitch Perfect 2 (PTX was the Canadian group...) And Clark... he was on the end with glasses and bow tie... he was on a few TV shows and is in a couple commercials. Dartmouth was AMAZEBALLS... even if you don't react to them... you really should check out their performances. Their star medley was Queen... and a couple of my favorites were Jessie's Girl, Save A Horse and Animal...

I actually watched this show in 2011, have followed PTX for years, and still stressed out when i watch this as if there is real suspense. :). Also, in hindsight, Sony dropping them after a week was probably a blessing in disguise. From what I’ve heard the terms were horrible, and it gave them the freedom to build their own style and fan base before being signed again. By that point they were in a much better position to negotiate contract terms.

Those contracts are horrible! It sucked that they dropped them, but they absolutely would not be where they are had they not been dropped and had the freedom to market themselves on KZbin freely! 💛xo

If you listen to the judge's opening comments to each finalist, it's actually apparent that they are giving it away who won and who didn't (of course, hindsight is 20/20). To answer your question, Urban Method eventually disbanded. The Dartmouth Aires are a college-sponsored group that is still in existence, but of course with all different members. They have released a number of albums over the years. Once Urban Method was eliminated, it was obvious that Pentatonix was gonna win because NBC and Sony were NEVER gonna allow a college-sponsored group to win a professional recording contract. I think if Nick had made them wait much longer announcing the winner, both Mitch and Kirstie would have had heart attacks right there on the stage. Scott's humble acceptance speech was very similar to all three of his Grammy acceptance speeches...his humility remains intact. I'm told there is a full version of their performance of Eye of the Tiger somewhere floating around out there, but I've never seen it. If you want to go further into the Sing Off, there are the opening performances from each week in which ALL the groups performed together (Pentatonix was not on episode 1 & 3...there were so many groups at the beginning of the season that the show had two split them into two divisions for the first four shows). Also, the week after the finale was the Christmas special which included several Pentatonix appearances. They returned on the finale night of season 4. There are two separate videos, one showing their singing performance and another showing them giving advice to each of the season 4 finalists, including Home Free. "Season 5" was actually only a single episode, but Pentatonix returned to sing on that one as well.

Thank you for finishing this. Not many who react to it do. If you got some time. there is a video on you tube of the whole season all performances. Its 140 videos so you probably wouldn't want to react to it, but it's fun to watch.

It was rather cruel of Nick to make them wait so long lol-I was seriously worried Mitch was going to hurl right there on the stage. :D

Those fools who thought that PTX would've never made it cuz of acapella, they should have sign-OFF from the Sing-OFF... Bet they're wishin' they had the group now, eh?
