A clear reminder that the most beautiful instrument is a well trained and intentional human voice. Thank you for this gift.
@Salsa4704 ай бұрын
Yes, the voice is a wonderful instrument. Unfortunately, the vast majority of songs performed by Pentatonix, labeled as "live," are actually modified and generated thanks to skilled sound technicians who spend hours artificially correcting each note of each singer to achieve a pseudo-perfection. This results in voices that are devoid of sensitivity, interchangeable, and without emotion. Dear young singers, do not be sad if you feel like you are not measuring up, and do not compare yourselves to this pseudo a cappella group. This false perfection is unattainable for any human. A cappella actually means "only with the voice and without instruments."
@noirprmrdl4 ай бұрын
@@Salsa470 haha you're funny. I know that a human voice will never be perfect "technically speaking", but have you ever watched all their old MICLESS and RAW RECORDED (from mobile phones) performances/videos??? pentatonix became the most popular and by majorities' opinion the best a capella group FOR A REASON. I dare you to watch all their live micless performances that are recorded using phones. you dare call them pretentious/not genuine/pseudo without actually knowing them and hearing their raw micless and unamplified voices? you are just another insecure fella who I don't understand why would bother waste their time in here given the fact that you obviously dislike this group. All I can say is WOW!!! 👌 I have never heard Pentatonic sing anything without doing an absolutely superlative job, and this just blew me away.

I really like how Matt has changed up how he sings the second verse, making separate from how Avi originally did it whilst still blending with the group. He’s made it his own and it’s still just as good

see, I used to hate that he changed it so much from the original studio recording. I still don't "love" it, but I respect that he wanted to do something different from the other guy. Matt is awesome. such a great fit and great energy. he's human serotonin.

This year marked the first anniversary of my attendance at your concert in Raleigh, North Carolina. I had an incredible time. Before leaving for the concert, I repeatedly exclaimed my excitement. My older sister and I even had a conversation in the restroom, saying, "I swear to God, if they sing Hallelujah, I will cry." Hallelujah is my all-time favorite song cover by Pentatonix. My sister and I were thrilled and having a great time during the concert. After the last song, everything went dark, and I was confused since it was my first concert. However, when I heard Scott begin singing Hallelujah, my eyes widened, and I covered my mouth, becoming emotional. I was overjoyed to hear my favorite song performed live. If I were to create a top five or top ten list of my favorite Pentatonix songs, Hallelujah would undoubtedly hold the top spot. I adore that song, and it never ceases to captivate me. I am and will always be a devoted Pentaholic.

This classic NEVER gets old or tired...but Pentatonix has a way to make you FEEL every note and word. The harmonies and each individual vocal instrument are truly amazing talents. So pure and chilling. Everyone needs their part to make it so moving and truly a masterpiece of sound. It is so breathtaking when you have just simplicity with epic vocals. Bravo. ❤❤❤
