This was filmed in California's Mojave Desert...in August or September, because the video needed to be released for the holidays and would take time to edit. As you might guess, filming in a desert in Summer is not fun. It was about 100 degrees, and they all had to hydrate and get wiped down for sweat as the filming went on. Props to the five of them for not even looking like they were about to have heat stroke.

Wow, I turned my head for a minute and now you are deep into the PTX catalogue! This is such a perfectly crafted song by Pentatonix, with only one missing element. Scott starts off soft but strong, Avi glides in with his velvet tones, Kevin starts the body percussion to notch it up, Kirstie powers her way to the rafters and Mitch floats above it all and makes reactors say, “Wait, what?” And then they all join forces and raise the roof, layer by layer. The only thing missing is a solo turn for Kevin, with his achingly sweet falsetto. I’m so happy I got to experience this one with you, well done! Peace from Ohio …

Yes Avi can definitely sing! You should check out his solo work. Change on the Rise is his most popular, and his latest album is the Shooter Jennings produced Floating on a Dream. Pick anything that sounds good to you, everything the man sings is stunning!

Since you tend to be drawn to bass singers… make sure you notice anytime the bass in Pentatonix is singing, Scott drops and covers bass. You really see/appreciate it in their live performance of this with Avi… Scott’s range is crazy and he can get pretty low on bass as well.

You should check some of Avi's solo song, really. Change on the rise was the first song is released after he left PTX. And yes, he can sing, he had a classic opera training before he joined the group. It's worth to see and hear 😉 Thanks 😘
