This arrangement was a nod to Pentonix beat boxer Kevin Olusula's Nigerian heritage. I can't listen to this song anymore without hearing this arrangement. Loved it and loved your expression when they came in with the eyahs! Subscribed to hear more PTX reactions. Have a great weekend!

Isn't this great! I always forget that Pentatonix doesn't use instruments, b/c their harmonies are so good, but also thanks to Kevin Olusola, their beatboxer. His father was from Nigeria & his mother from Grenada & when they were reworking this, they wanted to give it an African vibe. I love the original, but I ADORE this one, because instead of being solemn, this is so joyful.

I’m from the U.K - Wales .. I always search for your reaction to this song, hours away from each other but the beautiful part about the internet is that i can tell you how beautiful you are and how much I love your reaction to this video, it’s my favourite ❤xx

"Love Came on Christmas" is also from Pentatonix aka PTX. It also has African vibes. Avi, with the beard, is the only one who has left. Matt became their new bass. Kevin and Matt are African American (both of Nigerian descent), Scott is of Scandinavian descent, Mitch is of Italian descent, and Kirstin is from Mexican descent. A mixed bag for sure!!! I just subbed.
