Because the violin is electric, no body is needed in which to vibrate the string sound. Best version of this song I've ever heard and it is so uplifting and lively.

This is a song it’s based on a old poem that was originally written about Thanksgiving day. It was turned into a song in the 19th century. I remember learning it in grade school as a Thanksgiving song. It seems that it’s been adapted to change Thanksgiving to Christmas and so now it’s become a Christmas song. I love how they changed up the song. My only criticism is I wanted them to do at least one more verse it was too short. Lindsay Sterling both a dancer and a violinist. She’s a performer known for playing violin while dancing.

Awesome. Seen this video a few times, and just did not notice how little violin was there. I thought it was like a half cased one. Now I guessing it is an electric violin that folds the sound of a traditional violin in. The other idea is that you did not hear the cello much, maybe it is where the fuller sound was made. idk. 🤔😁😎
