Scott and Mitch were asked on a live to describe each other. Mitch said of Scott. He’s driven, positive and loving. Scott said of Mitch. He’s Talented, Smart and loyal. When they were in the sing off , during one interview Kirsty started crying and said she was so happy that the world would see how talented Mitch was. These are very humble hard working people. They are easy to listen to and easy to love.

I so agree with your comments about Scott. In many ways, it seems he's the glue that holds the group together. They each have their unique super-powers, but without Scott holding things down, I feel the group would not be as successful as it is. His strength is not only in his phenomenal vocal range and smooth sound that is the perfect lead for so many songs, but his character comes across as gentle and thoughtful, with a good head for business and a strong belief in his own potential and the future of the group. Scott seems to be that unusual combination of artist, visionary and organizer. I know these days PTX have an extensive crew that attend to all the details of their careers, but Scott was the initial spark that put it all together, and as you will see as you continue with the Sing-Off journey, certain performances by him were key in pulling PTX ahead of the pack.
@JesseReacts2 жыл бұрын
That what i get from him aswell, an absolute powerhouse in multiple facets. Really adsertive and a driving force in the team. Probably motivating others to take chances and boost their confidence. Jumping to a bunch of ungrounded conclusions there, but he sure gives that vibe. Also in the early sing off days! Really a complementary bunch.
@hawkeyescoffee63992 жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly, without Scott there would never have been a PTX, he was the one who said let's do this and he was the one who contacted Kevin through KZbin and borrowed the money to fly him out to do the show. He's incredibly creative and I agree, he's the visionary. When he and Rozzie Crane talked on their podcast about what (other than singing) did they think was the thing that had most helped them find success, for him they both agreed it was his creativity. Of course they're all insanely talented, but he appears to be the driving force.

Ever since the Sing Off, I always think of Scott as the "over riffer in chief." If you ever get around to watching the videos of the entire cast of contestants singing their opening song, with sometimes more than a hundred young, strong, gorgeous voices singing at once, you'll enjoy the heck out of them. But my point: even with a hundred singers on stage, you can pick out Scott's voice over-riffing the heck out of whatever they're singing. He's easy to pick out, too. He's usually the tallest guy on stage, and, of course, a natural blond. He holds himself back, in service of the song and the group, but the gentleman has some fantastic set of pipes, doesn't he?
@JesseReacts2 жыл бұрын
For sure! An amazing talent and amazing teamplayer. Love how he is allowing himself to be a bit more playful and “showboating” in these live vids. Actually adds another layer to him, that didn’t show in a lot of videos yet. Love the personality and energy coming from him throughout everything i’ve seen
@ellenhulslander28972 жыл бұрын
The team metaphor was a good one, because they always work as a team They don't let egos get in the way of what is best for a song. They have deep admiration for each other's talent. My favorite is usually whoever is singing. Once you get past the amazing leads, the background vocals are stunning.
@CourtneyLiz12202 жыл бұрын
2 things I think about every time I see this (which is A LOT 🤣): 1-whoever mixed this deserves a freaking award. Just PERFECT mic balance and it really allows us to hear each voice and appreciate the magic happening on that stage! 2- I reallllllly wish there was a studio version of CSL with Mitch doing the bridge. The version with Tink is great but the way Mitch OWNS every word is perfection 😍 Great reaction as always! Loved your thoughts!

Hello Jesse. Yes, yes, yes!!!! Thank you for doing this one. Yes - they do this live. All five of them are superb and they all work together for the best effect. These are all originals except the Evolution of Michael Jackson, so that's an extra treat. Cracked is superb and Scott owns it all the way with his pop sounds and riffing. My favourite in this Popspring 2016 is Can't Sleep Love. Can't Sleep Love is a great original. On stage, Mitch just took over - what a performer he is - the sass, the swag, the style, the energy. He stole the show. Mitch's vocalization at the beginning with "Pwaw, Pwaw, Pwaw, Pwaw, Pwaw" and his ear candy "Yeah" - just superb - so glad you liked those sounds. Mitch is a supreme singer for sure and beyond that he is a supreme vocalist. When he walked with the microphone stand, I knew he was ready to take off. PTX has a music video of this (but Mitch does the rap only live on stage) and also a video where they break down the music video and show all five parts separately - that is worth watching. Doing that Evolution of MJ as live -- just wow. Avi of course on the bass throughout. Kevin with his beat boxing and all those sounds is always just beyond belief. Kirstie on Water - more wow. Wasn't that just fun? Love your reactions - stayed for the full half-an-hour. Thanks!

Cracked was a Scott + Avi song. I Can't Sleep Love was given them by the record company and everyone added to it before they performed it. Water is Kirstin's. So good! Thanks for reacting to so much PTX. I love that. They are all so insanely talentent, but I have a sweet spot for Mitch. For exactly all the same reasons you explained. What I really like about PTX is they don't compete for spotlight. They let each other shine and even enhance the other person's presence. They pick the right people to lead in each song. You can clearly tell they are good friends and are so professional with their singing but very fun to watch. Please react to "Come Along" it is such a fun song and video! Also their original "Love again" will blow your mind. Oh and definitly do all the Evolution Videos. Rhianna, Ariana, Music...Mitch kills them all!

One thing that makes them great is their ability to sing their part in the song where it makes sense. Sometimes it’s the lead and sometimes it’s the backup. I liked the video before even watching because I knew you'd love this. Aren't they spectacular live? They probably have some reverb on the mics but the "reverb" you hear on the waterdrops I'm pretty sure is Kevin doing a sound and then Avi doing a sound almost at the same time but kind of minimally delayed to create a reverb effect. So they do a dull drum/drop by doing half of it each, kind of... Masterful. All the songs except for the obvious one (Evo. of MJ) are originals

Hi Rebecca. They for sure are capable to build those sounds together. Seen them doing it before most definitely. So amazing if that was the case here aswell!

I think they all put %100 into all of it. Now days they all have other stuff the manage so they all have what it takes to make the whole group great. They all bring something different to the group and they all hold that group together. Each one has songs where they shine. So I don't feel putting one over another is right. They are all as equally talented.
