I watched this 2 hrs after it dropped. I knew I’d need a box of tissues handy watching reactions and I was right. I heard it on the album and hoped they would do a video for it. I’m so happy they did. Just listening to it was hard to tell where Mitch ended and Kirstie began. Knew it was Mitch was singing with Scott. After my brains blew up in KISS FROM A ROSE..I definitely needed this. So simply done and so BEAUTIFUL and soothing. I wonder if this is being used for new WONKA movie. It’s would be perfect.

SOOOOOOOO GORGEOUS (and the song is really pretty, too 😉). Mitch has outdone himself with that stunning and angelic (agreed that it was sexy 😁) voice of his ❤💚! The Scott/Mitch mashup was brilliant. I loved the middle ooo and ahhh section that almost sounded like an orchestra. EVERY person’s part was just perfectly executed in this beautiful arrangement. It’s one of my favorites on the new album.

Mitch might be the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. Freddie died in November 1991 and Mitch was born in July 1992. He can also grow the Freddie mustache. It is so close to matching it is kinda creepy. You can see Mitch with the Freddie mustache doing Somebody to Love on a Queen special that was on ABC a few years ago.

I loved kiss by a rose but this my favorite of the two. I think because it combines two songs from my childhood into this interwoven tapestry. Not many get these are two different sons. Two different genres, two different decades of last century; you literally just heard them masterfully interwoven through the entire song. They just switched from which one was dominant and which was undertone. Until scott and mitch sang both choruses at the same time and you'd never tell it was anything but one song. So far those that don't know. Pure Imagination was in original Willy Wonka movie in '71. Written by the original Willy himself, Gene Wilder. Rip. Christmastime time is Here ie from A Charlie Brown christmas, 1965 by Vince Guaraldi.

My connotation for Christmas Time Is Here is sort of sad because it’s from Peanuts and Charley Brown is always a bit sad. Pure Imagination is from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Gene Wilder was just creepy. This is warm and dreamy. How Mitch, Kirstie and Kevin manage to come off warm in their upper registers just shows how good they are.

I listen to Scott in this song and also in Kiss From A Rose and, for the life of me, I can't understand how he was rejected by American Idol three times. This occurred before Pentatonix was created in 2011. Some of those singing competition shows have got to be rigged.
