No matter what PTX does, it makes me smile. "Blinding Lights" is another great cover they do, I would love your reaction to it. Also for a Christmas song, "Thank You," written by Scott and his BF, I believe, is really beautiful. Scott is on piano and Kevin with the Cello.

I forget. Have you done their version of Kiarra's "Gold"? It's damn impressive. They do some tricks there they've only otherwise done in " Cheerleader". Wait. I'm not sure you've done "Cheerleader" either. Its a HUGE must. Go look at the number of views on the video. It deserves them.

An interesting take on Cheerleader is in a video series PTX side by side. You hear the PTX track in one ear, and the original artist in the other. It really shows how well PTX can match an original. The original bridge was done on a trumpet, PTX remixes it vocally.

I *love* the energy on this one. Kirstin's eyeshadow, green contacts, perfect dragonfruit lips, and little sneer are everything. Matt and Kevin are having a blast, Scott looks grieved but sounds great, and Mitch - as you said, sweet, both in his baby pink outfit and nimble vocals.

They played this at my old job all the time. I didn't know who sang it but mostly ignored it. Once I found PTX I could stand it a little better. Scott hits some pretty high notes in Ariana Grande cover Problem. Plus Mitch gets to rap. You need to hear Mr. Grinch before the concert. It's Matt driven and so much fun. Plus we get to hear Scott's lows

Over the last year I've probably spent a few hundred hours (more?) listening to either an official PTX track or a reaction video to one of their pieces, and I read a goodly chunk of the comments under each one. In all those comments I think I remember seeing exactly ONE that claimed "they aren't all that." Which was due to the fact that the commenter was a rabid Home Fry and found it hard to accept that "his" group wasn't considered by all and sundry to be the best in the world. Each of us Pentaholics tend to gush over a specific member, though a lot of us, like me, find our "favorite" seems to jump around in the group depending on the song we're listening to. I can only say that I'm so glad they've never displayed any internal jealousy over the amount of praise any one of them gets - they are ALL so amazing.

Loved your reaction as always!! One of my favorites! You should check out them trying to sing 100 songs in 10 minutes and their PTXPERIENCE Summer 2018 Ep.1 and 2. And the reason I’m suggesting these specifically is exactly what you mentioned in this video, you really get to see them and their personalities more outside of seeing them sing (which you absolutely still see them do plenty of of course) and then you just fall in love with them even more! I feel like you would really enjoy and appreciate that just as much as I and so many of the rest of us do!! 💙💙

I have never heard the original (I haven't listened to the radio in 15 years), but I enjoy this so much, I don't see the need to! Travis you & your teacup kill me every time 🤣🤣🤣 this was actually the song that kicked off my PTX journey, I was searching for another version of this song & saw PTX had done a cover, my sister is a fellow Pentaholic & had been insisting for years that I listen to them but for some reason I had just never gotten around to it, so I thought I’d give this a listen & I fell down that rabbit hole HARD lol I’m now currently a bigger Pentaholic than my sister & I converted my 2 sons into Pentaholics too 🤣 the original was quite dark so it was awesome to see something so bright & fun from PTX, they did the same with Come Along. Another awesome one they did that is bright, colourful & gives out awesome vibes is their upgrade of Break My Heart 🥰

I love this one too (and also didn't love the original). Recs: Waving through a window, the Greatest Show (audio only unfortunately but it's amazing), their Evolution of ariana grande (my favorite of their evolutions), and for Xmas music... Mr. Grinch! It's time. You're ready to get Matt-slapped! Oh and "PTX tries to sing 100 songs in 10 mins." It's equal parts technical perfection and chaos and so much fun. They were promoting their Christmas album that year so there's a good amount of xmas music mixed in there too.

I agree. Quite often PTX will take a song that is kinda meh and add their special magic. Cheerleader is a good example of this. I don’t like the original at all. I can listen to PTX’s on repeat. 😁
