I think he has been taking voice lessons all along. His singing is different now than it was in the beginning. I think he says "fwee" a couple of times in Daft Punk but that was back when he was a young'un.

Loved your reaction and you talking about Mitch’s pronunciation of words. In Amazing Grace and Sound of Silence he really enunciated his words (secures, endures, stabbed, flash) really well. I have especially noticed how easy it is to understand the lyrics to their songs..no guessing what they said.
