Really informative... Thank you Michael. I don't have a Pentax 67 yet but I soon will have. I shoot 35mm in a lot of my 120 cameras but without the mask's.... I like the photo's to overlap the sprockets. You should give it a try :-). What I found most satisfying (and I will keep coming back to this vid) is your flash information... I want to understand it much better than I do! and your way of explaining this is going to help me. Tank you for this :-) Looking forward to watching more of your video's.

Thank you for this video! Very informative! I have been having trouble using the camera in low light. I do have the 90mm leaf shutter lens. I was unaware of being able to shoot 35mm film on a 210 camera.

Oh an one more thing, Ive noticed there are three ways to achieve a brighter view in the viewfinder. the chimney that you have on your camera, waist level viewfinder, and a magnifier eyepiece that flips up. I have a ttl viewfinder that meters my photographs, and like to get a brighter view. I was considering getting the "flip up" magnifier, but you mentioned, that chimney or waist level finder is clearer. I would consider getting a waist level or chimney, but I suppose Id have to get a separate meter to if going either route.

Jorge,I use a Sekonic incident light meter and carry it with those unmetered finders. A little pricy but a good investment. The TTL is good for telephoto lenses and a must have there.

That is why it was made. There is a lot that has not been done that needs to be made.

The Pentax repair guy told me how to use a 165LS I sent him that I had lots of trouble with. It should arrive by next week and I'll have another go at it.

I recently purchased a Pentax 67 and now have three lens. I am going to try a Vivitar 2800 flash as you do with the camera but outside for fill light. Also, going to use a Profoto B1X flash unit outside as I do with my digital cameras.

quck question Micheal. I recently bought a YN660 and some pocket wizard plus X. They all connect and work perfectly with my Pentax 67 ( dry fire testing). Now given that the sync speed of the camera is 1/30 how or what is the best way to balance ambient light with flash (off camera). Do I meter for flash or meter for ambient?
@MichaelCarter4 жыл бұрын
I would meter both and then bracket between them to find out what looks best.
