I wouldn't mind seeing this one. Dooku definitely beats Maul here, and Qui-gon lives. Qui-gon then takes Anakin on, sensing he is the chosen one. He would have had more time to come to terms with Xanatos so he would be in a better place as well. Anakin would actually reach his full potential with Qui-gon teaching him, unrestricted by the code and trusting in the living force. Anakin would be encouraged to feel, and react on his instincts, but to not let his emotions control him.

Here’s day 9 of my usual list of What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?

Day 4: What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi? Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master. Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire. The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself. To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both.I think its a bit overdone at this point, but if necessary, you could also do what if jedi zannah trained Anakin or Luke, but again, bit overdone.

The council all taking an active role to train him was definitely a breath of fresh air. And the group meditations that helped every single one of them grow as individuals, getting back to their old role as protectors of the people, and Anakins progress shooting through the roof with access to all these new techniques and knowledge, tempered by wisdom and patience. I adore that he was made Grand Master as well. It just shows their trust in him after they raised him :3

Honestly if I was a sith and had ambitions of a galactic empire, especially one I ruled forever, my goal would be ensuring the loyalty of the people long term. For some reason that I can only assume is the result of their ambition leading them to covet overwhelming control of the population, dictators both in fiction and real life wind up hella totalitarian and invasive. That doesn't work long term, bc it will either lead to organized rebellion, or a slow decay of the empire over time. Even if you can stamp out the first and ultimately scatter any organized large scale rebellion, that doesn't mean it won't happen on a smaller scale. Fear only works as a deterrent for resistance when the majority of the population have either a hope for more under your regime if you play the game or significantly more to lose should you rebel and lose. Once the majority feel like shit sucks and won't get better, you'll have never ending pockets of rebellion that will eat away at your empires and make you weak to pressure from the outside bc you have to dedicate most of your wealth to the military. So even in the best case and you don't lose a rebellion, eventually you'll have a brittle shell of an empire with a lot of guns, but absolutely no drive to resist any outside force. Knowing that, if I was gonna rule as the emperor of the galaxy, first things first, it'll be an entirely separate part of the government, as the head of an internal democracy. So using star wars as an example id introduce emperor as a replacement position for chancellor, and remove it from the Senate. Then I'd delegate the Senate to making system based law and intersystem local law. My job would be the head of state, head of the military, and sole creator of galactic policy. The Senate would be in charge of separate, localized economies that could trade within newly established economic zones. I would design them to ensure wealth would be spread through the mid and outter rims. Systems would have a max range of trade so the resources of the outer rim would be traded through the mid rim on the way to the core so every planet had steady income. What could be traded would be the private sector, but the galaxy spamming would be in charge of the nationalized industries. As the emperor id control All industries regarding power, intersystem infrastructure, housing, healthcare, education, etc. I'd invest heavily on infrastructure, healthcare and education, ensuring housing, education, healthcare and a UBI was available galaxy wide. Id want to make individual systems and planets feel as autonomous as possible, with the best quality of life. When it comes to the freedom of citizens I'd be as progressive as possible. I think at most my ambition is at the level of wanting to be "king" so I could ensure the state is going in a direction I approve of, but little past it. If you're the type that prefers to have shit like secret Police then I'm sure my idea is barely an empire

Thank you for another wonderful story. Among its many merits I liked the comment how Ducul was treated as that uncle with the crazy conspiracy theories that you just nod and listened to in order to make him happy or just get it over with. I also love the theme you weave into all your stories whenever it makes sense of dealing with the subject of slavery and freeing them. I remember in the first prequel it was the Jedi's not even blinking about slavery, just buying Anakin to take with them that is when the Jedi lost their "magic" or mojo in my eyes. Where they became just a bunch of people with laser swords instead of my admittedly idealized notion of knights who wrought rights. While I liked Star wars since the trilogy I wouldn't have called myself a fan until the Mandalorian show, where I learned to fall in love with the setting through Mando and company and how they were focused on doing the right thing. They became the knights in shining armor, albeit space western style. I learned in reverse, watching Bad batch, then Clone wars and then Rebels of the rest of the verse, including Satine and the other Mandalorians. It was actually one of your stories that put me on that path since I had dismissed the Bad Batch as oh just another story about gritty bad boy anti-heroes, then one of your Order 66 stories put the notion in my head of Bad Batch meaning their chips went bad. I was surprised to find out that was right and the rest was history. So thank you VERY much for that too. Anyway, thank you again for this and the other stories you and others have written that you read on this channel. They are very much appreciated.

Then she enters stasis. She awakens shortly before or after Anakin is born, uses her sorcery to conceal her signature, becomes a Jedi, and later becomes his master. Alternatively, adjust events to fit Luke Skywalker instead. Alternate path: Although this makes Zannah a bit overpowered, she fakes her death and, instead of entering stasis, grants herself immortality due to her affinity for the arcane side of the Force. She trains for a thousand years on a distant planet until Anakin or Luke is born. Reason for doing this: She believes that Anakin or Luke is the answer to the grand plan(Bane`s or perhaps her own, maybe she wants to kill Abeloth or something) and considers herself the perfect teacher for them.

Day 4: What if, Savage oppress reached his full potential. and never betrayed Count Dooku What if Darth Bane returned during the Clone Wars? He receives a vision of Palpatine and is furious to the point where he either fakes his death and enters carbonite, awakening in the Clone Wars to stop him. Alternatively, with the help of Zannah, he gains immortality and trains for a thousand years on a distant planet until the Clone Wars. Or perhaps, both Bane and Zannah undertake this, tweaking the story to allow for both scenarios. Zannah kills Bane, and they secretly transfer his essence into a waiting body or create an illusion. This process repeats when Zannah's apprentice kills her.

I like how this went, I like it when the Jedi are able to better themselves from an earlier rather than just turn things around at the end or Anakin doing it.

Day 4: What if Darth Zannah returned during the clone wars? All events transpire as normal, until Zannah`s apprentice kills her. It can be an illusion or essence transfer, either way Zannah survives, then enters stasis. She disobeyed the rule of two, because she saw a vision of palatine, believing him to be the one who would destroy the sith or she wanted to be the one who ruled the galaxy Alternate path: though this one makes Zannah ridiculously overpowered, fakes her death still, but instead of stasis, grants her self immortality due to her affinity of the arcane side of the force, trains for a thousand years on a distant planet. Reason for doing this: Her own power, or maybe she wants to be the final sith. First apprentice and last master and something like that. Or maybe this was the plan the whole time, but that involves tweaking bane and the rule of two itself.
