It certainly could be interesting but a good deal of what makes what ifs about Starkiller interesting is that his parents are Jedi that survived Order 66. If he were born much earlier then his parents would’ve had to leave the order for a different reason.

Honestly the cannon & legends ways of how it happened can realistically fit in the same timeline, just have TFU be the same, but instead of Galen creating it he unites the leaders to the point where they start uniting the Rebel Cells & then have Rebels show the leaders finally uniting the Rebel Cells under one alliance.

What if Luke Skywalker and Galen Marek switched places. You could pull it off as Luke Skywalker gets kidnapped by Vader like a month after the events of order 66. Kenobi trying to redeem himself or something would go to Kashyyyk to assist the wookies. He would come across the boy who this time ran from Vader (he would also not use the force to grab his lightsaber as Vader would prolly want to grab him). Obi-wan would raise him and potentially take down the empire.

I’ve always liked this idea. With the Kenobi and Ahsoka series out, this makes me wonder how Vader would have acted when finding Obi Wan. I think that based on his defeat on Kashyyyk, he’d be more cautious but would still be enraged to the point where killing or tormenting Obi Wan would the the first thing on his mind. As for Mace and Galen finding Shaak Ti on Felucia, if we go by what happened in Legends, Mariss Brood likely would have been with Shaak Ti and training under her at this point. I think that seeing her go with Ti to Yavin 4 and joining the Jedi Order would be interesting as she was clearly struggling with impatience and her own inner darkness when Galen found them on Felucia in Star Wars the Force Unleashed. So seeing her grow and develop in such a nurturing environment would be interesting.

I also have a problem with the bodies of clones and droids still being on kayyshak. 2 years after the battle? They would've cleaned as much of that battlefeild up as they could by now. However, there may be bodies in the sand that get occasionally revealed had they been buried in the sand during the chaos.

A pitched fight between the wookies and the clones would not end with the clones getting absolutely destroyed. Espeically the 501st, vader's elite. By this time they would've seen so much combat it's not even funny. The clones would give the wookies a hard time and the wookies would give the clones a hard time. It would be a much closer fight even if the empire managed to defeat the wookies. I think battlefront 2 does a decent job of portraying the kind of difficulty the empire would face if they managed to do another full scale assault.
